The purpose of the Ergonomics Society of Korea is to contribute to development, distribution, and application of ergonomics technology for overall human and social well-being.
The Ergonomics Society of Korea (ESK) is an academic organization founded to make contributions to ergonomic technology promotion by developing, diffusing, and applying scholarship and technology on ergonomics.

Aims
To hold conferences, debates, and lectures
To publish and distribute the journal and other publications
To promote industry-academia cooperation for design rationalization and human’s welfare improvement
To encourage research and to deliberate, commend, and award research achievements
To exchange information with other domestic and international institutions
To carry out and support various businesses required to achieve ESK’s aims

Papers on ergonomics published six times per year (February, April, June, August, October, and December)

Held two times per year (spring and fall)
Ergonomic Design Award
Presented to enhance Korean products’ external competitiveness and maximize consumer satisfaction
Ergonomic Academic Award
Given to the best paper published in the journal of the Ergonomics Society of Korea
Given to one excellent paper in the spring and fall conferences, respectively.
